Hornby HBA MGR Hopper (2002 Tooling)
A hand cast polyurethane resin wagon load for Hornby OO Gauge HBA MGR Hopper Wagon. (2002 Tooling)
Approximate size 91mm long x 31mm wide. Approximate weight 20g.
Please note these loads suit the 1st HBA wagon Hornby produced which was simply an old HAA wagon with an additional hood. Loads for the upgraded 2nd version, which is the wagon with sprung buffers for ease of identification, are listed separately as HFA loads. The same upgraded wagon carries both HBA and HFA TOPS coding.
To fit this load you will need to remove the canopy hood. I removed mine by simply running my finger nail along it's edge. The load has two slots milled across the top to allow for the replacement of the canopy with it's two cross braces.
This load can be supplied:
Plain Resin - this load will require primer before applying an enamel or acrylic paint.
Primed - this load has been pre-primed with good quality automotive primer ready to paint in a colour of your choice.
Painted Coal - this load has been primed and spray painted with good quality automotive matt black paint to resemble coal and is ready to fit.
Wagon is NOT included!
